This research, while discussing Hasan Sabbah's religious innovation, takes up his role in the founding of the new Isma'ili mission, his opinion on the position of the imam in the hierarchy of this creed and the necessity of following the good model of the imam. Also, the effect of these religious reforms on the Iranian Isma'ili community and how this Isma'ili da'i, or missionary, went to become the top leader of the Nizari Movement are dealt with in this article.
According to the findings of this investigation, by introducing new religious teachings, while fundamentally reforming the structure of the Isma'ili movement, Hasan Sabbah adapted the new creed to the social and political necessities of the time. This adroit and deeply religious approach caused the teachings of this particular missionary to become known as the ٹ New Mission'.
Using his novel ideas, he united the Iranian Nizaris and gave them more power and new aspirations. With his leadership in the capacity of the Hujjah (Representative) of the Occult Imam, he moved the Nizari community towards the mustering of much political clout as well.
