Between the Second and founth centuries AH, travel to distant places became very common among Muslims. The Hajj Pilgrimage and quest for knowledge were among motives for traveling and search throughout the mundane realm in the Muslim World. In this article, it has been tried to present a brief description of the most important travels by Muslim geographers and envoys through a probe into eanly Islamic geographical Sources.
