Abstract

After his Hijrah, or Migration, to Medina, with the help of the Muhajirun (Emigrants) and the Ansar (Helpers), Prophet Muhammad succeeded to make the enemies of Islam, the Idolaters, the Hypocrites and the Jews surrender to the Islamic State in Medina and managed to spread the domain of the Islamic State's authority nearly to the whole of Arabian Peninsula. In the last momths of his life, however, he was confronted with the uprisings of the Riddah (Apostasy) People and several claims of false prophethood in the midst of which he passed away.
With the devotion of loyal Companions of the Prophet and under the leadership of the First Caliph, the young Islamic State in Medina rose to protect Islam and strengthen the roots of the newly-established state in Medina.
This article deals with three issues: the preparation of Usamah's Army, the tribal Apostasy uprisings and the Muslim conquests beyond Arabian boundaries.
