Abstract

Components of Iranian identity.in the local historys of the Ilkhanate era.
Abstract
Historiography has a direct relationship with identity. With the collaps of the Sasanids, Iranians although accepting Islam revised and reconstructed their identity; but this did not mean the negation of previous heritages or their adaptation to the teachings of the new religion, but these continued to existion the culture and collective identity of Iranians and mainly in the context of history and literature, and thus a hybrid identity under the titie of Iranian _Islamic identity in Iran become the ruler. Due to the break of identity in Iranian society during the Ilkhans period, the activities of Iranian historians, especially local writers, became more active in the service of revial and continuity of Iranian identity. Refering to the works of local writers of this period indicates that elements such as religious identity, language and literaturesocial,social integration and geographical coherence.
This article is done with a descriptive-analytical approach and by posing this main question that; what effect did the transformation in the historiography of the Ilkhanate era have on the attention of local historian to the components of Iranian.
