Abstract

peace be upon them) is of particular importance due to the association with the Imams (peace be upon them). The period of time after the Ashura uprising for the Shias can be considered as the period of entering a new arena in social and political terms, which due to the specific political conditions after the uprising, resulted in different actions of the Shias, among them the Alawites in a prominent way. The political life of the Shiites was influential. This article, by adopting the analytical descriptive method and using the source reports, seeks to find the answer to the question, what effect did the political views of the Alawites have on the political life of the Shiites until the rise of the Abbasids? Historical reports show a serious difference in the political views of the Alevis and the emergence of two main approaches: 1) political-religious approach based on the reform of the Imams (peace be upon them) and 2) the political-military approach of other Alevis aligned with other opponents of the caliphate, the result of which is the lack of coherence. In the political life of Shiism, the challenge was to lead and create the ground for the emergence of new sects.
