Abstract
The Zahab Peace Treaty (1049 A.H.) ended the long wars between Iran and the Ottoman Empire and established peace in the borders of the two countries after 146 years. Kermanshahan, as one of the border regions of Iran with the Ottoman state, was affected by this peace treaty and during this period, it started its political, social and economic revival. The current research seeks to answer the question that Zahab peace treaty had an effect on Kermanshahan in what aspects? Political stability and peace and the election of governors from among the heads of the Kermanshahan, the prosperity of agriculture and trade, the increase in the traffic of merchants and pilgrims from the path of the Kermanshahan, and of course the reduction of the defense readiness of the military forces of this region were the results and consequences of this treaty.
