Abstract

In the history of Islam, obituaries were considered one of the methods of recording historical events in important and special events. Kashfi's Rozah al-Shohda book is one of these books that was written in the recording of the news of Ashura event. The news recorded in this book are in two parts of the Quranic verses that express the dignity of their revelation about some Imams (AS) and also the traditions that indicate the individual or collective virtues of the Imams. Considering that this book has always been cited and both opponents and supporters have rejected or confirmed these news, in this article the researcher is trying to validate the recent news of this book about Shia imams, especially Imam Hussein. A) It should have advanced narration sources and Quranic verses. The results of the research showed that some of the manaqibs quoted in Al-Shuhada Rouza are compatible with the verses of the Qur'an, and in addition, they are also found in the old sources, but some of the manaqibs are not only not found in the old sources, but also do not have Quranic roots.
