Examining the sources of Imam Hassan Askari's (peace be upon her) letters

Abstract

The letters of Imams (peace be upon them) are one of the important heritages of Imami Shiism, which are important to deal with in various ways. Although the authors have limited themselves to collecting them, other aspects have not been considered. Examining these letters depends on knowing the sources and then examining their documents and texts. This article is organized with the aim of examining the sources of Imam Hassan Askari's (peace be upon him) letters, descriptive method and referring to various advanced works and is responsible for answering this question: What sources and works have quoted the letters of Imam Hasan Askari (peace be upon him) from the past until now. What is the degree of validity, characteristics and types of these sources and in which century are these letters most reflected?By examining and categorizing the sources of the letters, it has been clarified that the sources quoting the letters are reliable and reliable sources, and most of the letters are from the fourth century, in the hadith sources and the history and biography of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
