Abstract

The *Risalat al-Huquq* (Treatise on Rights), attributed to Imam al-Sajjad (AS), is one of the valuable resources in explaining Islamic moral and cultural principles and holds a prominent place in religious and legal studies. This work, by presenting comprehensive and human-centered perspectives on rights, plays a significant role in the Islamic intellectual and ethical discourse. Analyzing the authenticity of the documents and comparing different versions of this treatise is crucial in confirming its validity and understanding its content. The present research, aiming to review the available sources and versions of the *Risalat al-Huquq*, examines and analyzes the differences and similarities between various versions and applies documentation criteria to assess its validity. The results of this study indicate that, despite the critical views of some researchers regarding the weakness of its chain of transmission, the valuable evidence and content of this treatise prove its authenticity and confirm its reliability. The findings of this study pave the way for achieving a correct and complete understanding of the content of the *Risalat al-Huquq* and its impact on the legal and cultural spheres of society. It also emphasizes the importance of using this resource in contemporary Islamic society. This treatise plays a key role in linking religious principles with the needs of modern society.
