Abstract

Islamic historiography is one of the first sciences formed in Islamic culture and civilization and its roots are in the science of hadith, maghazi and Sira of the Prophet. Among these works, the book Tarikh Tabari has played an important role in Islamic historiography. An analytical study of the Prophet's biography is incomplete without examining the history of Tabari. This effect has kept many of its earlier sources alive. So it can be said that Tabari historiography has a significant share in the images that have been made about Prophet of Islam. Ideas used in history by various groups. Whereas the greatest prejudice against the Prophet goes back to his method of spreading Islam; This necessitates a study of the historiography of Tabari's book. What methods has highlighted in this text and what part of the life of the Prophet of Islam has he silenced in propagating Islam?The study of Tabari history book is the beginning of the pathology of such sources.
