Abstract

The idea of "Al-Hagh Leman Ghalab" originated in the Umayyad era and for a long time gave legitimacy to the Muslim ruling apparatus. In historical research, the cultural factors of the formation and penetration of this idea have not been paid attention. The purpose of this study is to investigate the cultural factors prone to create the idea of "Al-Haqh Leman Ghalab" in the era of the first three caliphs. This study seeks to answer the question of What cultural contexts did historical events in this era provide for the idea of "Al-Haqh Leman Ghalab"? This article is a historical research and uses a descriptive-analytical method to investigate the cultural history of The Age of the Caliphs. In the process of arranging information and analysis, it uses the concepts and propositions of theology and social psychology. The results of this study show that factors such as Lack of belief in the centrality of religion in political sovereignty And the weakening of religious zeal and the activation of ethnic and racial divisions that arose as a result of the events of the era of the three caliphs, provided part of the necessary cultural context and its preconditions for the creation of the idea of "Al-Haqh Leman Ghalab".
