necessary to pay attention to their intellectual heritage. Analyzing the approach and readership of editors of the Equality newspaper in the constitutional era is a response to this need. Therefore, this research is looking for an answer to the question of what was the approach of the Equality newspaper in facing the unfavorable situation of the society and what reading did it follow for the output.According to the findings of this research, returning to authentic Islam, preserving the constitutional system, establishing freedom and realizing justice have been the most important components of the attention of newspaper editors. By understanding the complicated situation and the troubles and tribulations of their time, they proposed the necessity of maintaining the demands of the constitutional system, the realization of freedom and the establishment of justice and equality as a way to pass. This return and explanation of the desired components has also been through the lens of modernity. This reading and response of the editors of the newspaper, is influenced by the requirements of the time and the actions that took place during that period. The intensification of political tensions and the alignment of supporters and opponents of the constitution, discourse conflicts of legitimacy and constitutionalism, and the actions of the supporters of dictatorship to return to power are among the actions that the positions and opinions of the egalitarians have been as a reaction or a response to them.
