The history of Islam in its very first century was confronted with intellectual and theological issues. The result of this is the emergence of sects such as Azarqa from the Kharijite group. Azarqa are of special importance in terms of the multiplicity and activities of their lifetime, because they revolted according to their beliefs and their propaganda to reject the monopoly of the caliphate among the Quraysh and the possibility of seizing it for every Muslim regardless of nationality and race among the Mawlawi and Non-Arab Muslims led a large number of them to join Azarqa. This led to insecurity and looting of Islamic cities based on the belief of withdrawal from Iraq. This study seeks to answer the question of how the interaction and confrontation of Al-Mahlab and Azarqa based on the extremist theory of extinction has had ups and downs by collecting library-type materials and descriptive-analytical methods and relying on first-hand sources. Is? The studies conducted in this study revealed that with the compilation and propagation of the rulings of resignation by Nafi 'Ibn Azraq, some Kharijite jurists and elders separated their way from Azarqah by reading these rulings in an extreme way. But Azarqa carried out large-scale massacres and looting of the cities along their route by instructing them to retreat. This highlights the importance of dealing with them, Mahlaba Ibn Abi Safra, the elected commander of the Umayyads, and his sons were able to remove Azarqa from the scene of military-political equations through practice and effort
