One of the results of the British colonial rule on the Indian subcontinent, which was carried out until 1274 AH in the form of theBritish East India Company and then under the direct supervision of the British government, was the termination of the Gorkhani Empire (1274-932 AH) and the domination of the local governments. One of the Muslims was Asif Jahian (1135-1368 AH). The most obvious difference between Asif Jahian and other Muslim local governments in India was that they were able to maintain their rule as the most important local government and as the main stronghold of the Muslims of this land until the end of the British colonial rule. This importance has caused the future research to investigate the relationship between Asifjahi rulers and British colonialism with the help of historical research method and data extraction from sources in a library manner. According to the findings of the research, these rulers, with their accurate understanding of the conditions of the subcontinent, sometimes came into conflict with the British and got privileges, and sometimes they used it as a tool for the survival of their government and to fight against colonialism
