The 12th century AH in many aspects have had a vital influence in the Iranian history. This period is characterized by the disability and political degeneration of Iran's economic and social life, which was a consequence of the Safavid fall, before the coming of Qajars. The political chaos in this period affected other social and economic sectors. This paper has focused on the political masses affecting the process of the Iranian monetary devaluation during the rule of Afghans, Afsharieh and Zandia dynasties. It also uses descriptive and explanatory methods to interpret the problem. One of the most significant economic outcomes in this century was the Iranian monetary devaluation during this period, which was the continuation of Safavid era. Political instability and the policies of power leaders in Iran during this period can be considered as influential factors in the Iranian monetary devaluation, those situations became worse and the high costs of these issues were obstacles to economic growth. Such as getting high tax, caused to demolishing the agricultural and economic foundation and due to lack of basic goods and inflation. The government had to decline the standard and weight of coin because of the lack of metal as a result of internal and external factors. The decrease of standard of money was a sign of decline in money value as well. This caused the increase in price and inflation wastly. As a result of these circumstance, the warth of Iran currency in this century went down highly.
