Abstract

Abbasid caliphs began tried to gain worldly power after The Seljuk’s weakness that the caliphate were reduced to spiritual matters. Iraq Seljuk Sultans seeks dominated the Caliphate and Caliphs sought fired up Iraq Seljuk forces from Baghdad. The conflict caused much strife among the Iraq Seljuk’s and Abbasid caliphs. Seljuk Princes domestic dispute led to Caliphs Consolidate their own power and provoked decentralization of Ghuzs. Caliph’s policy to weaken the Seljuk’s with Amir’s, Atabaks, and weaker princes. The Mustarshid was able to restore the power of the Caliph's worldly and military power by forming a military force and overriding the Iraq, but was eventually killed in a battle with the Iraqi Seljuk’s.
This article aims to explain the policies of Abbasid caliphs after Mustarshid against Iraq Seljuk’s and for the gain worldly power. The present article with descriptive-analytical approach and relying on primary sources study to The Abbasid relations with Iraq Seljuk’s and the result show Caliphs with policy of alliance with Amir’s and Atabaks and weaker princes, First they established their power in Arab Iraq’s and the deployment of trans-regional forces to end the rule of the Iraq Seljuk’s.
