Iranian Historiography in the Local Government of Decan

Abstract

Persian historiography in time of the local governments of Decan in the 10th and 11th centuries were so considerably developed that can be regarded as a kind of local Iranian dynastical historiography in Decan area. The present research investigates the reasons of Persian literature development as well as the Iranian historiography in Decan along with the critical study of the historical sources. According to the findings, it is concluded that the extensive migration of the Iranian to Decan area and their supporting by the governors provided the ground for the development of Persian literature in this area. Moreover, these migrators developed the traditions of Iranian historiography in this region

Abstract [العربیة]

ازدهر التأریخ الفارسی خلال فترة الحکومات المحلیة فی الدکن، فی القرنین العاشر و الحادی عشر، لدرجة أنه اکتسب رونقاً کبیراً لیصنف کنوع من التأریخ المحلی و الإیرانی المرتبط بمنطقة الدکن. تسعى هذه المقالة إلى البحث فی أسباب و علل انتشار الأدب الفارسی و التأریخ الإیرانی فی منطقة الدکن، و ذلک من خلال تحلیل المصادر التاریخیة، و التی یمکن أن نستنتج من خلالها أنّ هجرة الإیرانیّین إلى الدکن، و حمایة الحکام لهم، مهدت الأرضیة لانتشار الأدب الفارسی فی تلک البقعة الجغرافیّة، مما أدى الى إحیاء طرق التأریخ الإیرانی ونشره فی تلک المنطقة.
