A Historical Look at the Intellectual-Political Thought of Takfiri Groups in the History of the Islamic World From the point of view of Michel Foucault's historiography

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the historical process of formation of intellectual-political thought of takfiri groups in the Islamic world. Violent behavior, fanatical and dry interpretation of Islam, extremist appearance, shedding the blood of innocent people in the camera frame by members of these groups and spreading it in cyberspace, recognizing other Islamic sects as apostates, especially Shiites, etc. are some of the measures that need to study It makes these groups inevitable. This research tries to remove the dust of time from the history of the formation of the thought of the leaders of takfiri groups by using Foucault's paleontological and genealogical methodology.Michel Foucault's method emphasizes the present history, the relationship between power and knowledge in genealogy, history as discontinuities and discourses, epistemologies and subjects, the elimination of the autonomous subject and the role of historical rationality in shaping man, and through this approach the behavior of takfiri groups can be analyzed. . The findings of this study using Foucault's paleontology and genealogy method show that the seed of the thought of people like Ibn Taymiyyah who from the beginning emphasized the ideal subject with distinction and contrast, insider and outsider and excluded the rest from the realm of truth. Has found and emerged in the current world of Islam in the form of Wahhabism, Taliban, al-Qaeda, ISIS, and is shaping the contemporary subject and discovering the ideal subject of his choice.
