Abstract

With the domination of the Benjamiyya dynasty over the political system of Islam, the idea of Arab supremacy over non-Arabs spread. The design of hadiths and narrations based on Arab ethnic virtue by the Akhbaris affiliated with the Caliphate provoked a new reaction from Muslims, especially the supporters of the Shu'abiyya movement and the Tsavis aimed at establishing and rebuilding national culture in accordance with the essence of true Islam. They tried to falsify the narrations.
Relying on a descriptive-analytical method, this study has its melody to answer the question why the Shu'abiya movement used the tactic of fabricating hadith and narration in opposition to the Arabs, and what were the consequences of this movement? The research findings indicate that in the Umayyad period, due to the suffocating hegemony of the political system, at the beginning of Sha'ubiyyah's first approach to fabricating hadith and narration and the egalitarian challenge to deny Arab supremacy and gain national identity was independent of Islamic character. Then the scope of this cultural dynamic was extended to other fields in the field of literature, history, interpretation, mysticism, etc.
