Abstract

Abbasid Caliphs had important efforts and efforts to advance the economic activities of riparian ships in Iraq, a kind of golden era of Islamic caliphate in the field of commercial, economic, cultural exchanges with the land Are adjacent and distant. Despite the efforts and efforts made by the Abbasid caliphs to boost economic development and shipbuilding in the Arabian rivers, they encountered some obstacles and factors that negatively affected the activities Ships in the rivers. The research question is what factors influencing the economic activity of the Iraqi rivers in the first era of Abbasi? The findings of the research show that effective human and natural factors such as insurgents and internal flooding, domestic and foreign robbery and robbery, increase of customs duties, winds, flood and glades of rivers can be named. This paper, by collecting information from the sources and historical documents of Arabic texts and texts, with a descriptive approach and historical analysis, to examine the human and natural factors affecting the economic activity of the Iraqi rivers in the Abbasid Age of 1334-1384. -Producer
