The Fatimid Caliphate, which covered a large area of the western lands of the Islamic world in the third to sixth centuries AH; It was established on the basis of a political-religious movement based on the theological teachings of the Ismaili Shiites, who believed in the important principle of the Imamate attributed to Ishmael, the son of Imam Sadegh, and later Muhammad ibn Ismail. In this research, an attempt is made to develop, transform, continue and finally fall the Fatimid caliphate with a socio-cognitive approach.And be evaluated and analyzed on the basis of Max Weber's theory of traditional authority. Research Methods Analysis and analysis of historical data and implementation of political-administrative structure Fatimid rule will be based on the theory of traditional authority.The findings show that after two centuries of efforts by Ismaili da'is, the patrimonial rule of the Fatimid caliphate in North Africa was finally established. With the conquest of Egypt and the construction of Cairo, the political power of the caliphate was institutionalized, and with the expansion of the administrative and military institution, the Fatimid rule became a feature of the patrimonial system.
