The Rol of Fatimid Shi ihs in the Crusades

Abstract

The crusades is that part of the history of Islam and christianity that has been researched and studied by the arietalists before and more than the Muslims.
The Muslims, especially their elite, in the fifth and sixth centuries had considered the crusades as a second rate historical incident. Such a view-point, in addition to other academic influences, also affected the Islamic school of historiography; and consequently, leading to a negligence on the part of historians to ihs in this,ili Shi,pay enough attention to the role of the Isma regard. The resistence and perseverence against the Crusaders by the fatimids was ignored; and they were even portrayed as a state who invited the Crusaders to the East.
This article by using historical texts and sources tries to present ihs in this,0a more realistic explanation of the role of Fatimids Shi respect.
