Abstract
One of the most important aspects of Islam is the implementation of an Islamic lifestyle, and social checks and balances that can help an individual achieve the same. The jurisprudential term used for this concept is ‘enjoining good and forbidding evil’.This article takes a practical approach to find the relationship between this concept and the Present, Continuity, Decline concepts. We use Quranic verses and traditions of the Infallibles to present these arguments.
