This writing is an endeavor to show the social strategies of Imam Sadeq (PBUH) towards the Islamic convergence considering the social condition of that time through the historical method and taking advantage of historical and narrative sources related to Imam Sadeq’s actions and his especial endeavor towards the development of unity in the community. The historical conditions indicate that realizing the unity of Muslims, strengthening the social unities as well as the religious justice was considered as the most important social strategies of that holiness and in order to fulfill them, he relied on the strategies like the attending in the religious rites, developing favorably social and emotional unities among Muslims, conciliating with the opponents , respecting the beliefs of followers of religion, not imposing beliefs, avoiding from any prejudice or considering the others as nonbeliever. توصیه به اتحاد و انسجام اسلامی که ریشه در آموزه‌های قرآن و سنّت معصومان(ع) دارد، از جمله موضوع‌هایی است که بررسی تاریخی آن در ادوار مختلف، از  اهمیت بسیاری برخوردار است. این نوشتار، با بهره‌گیری از منابع روایی و تاریخی، اقدامات امام صادق(ع) و اهتمام ویژه آن حضرت را برای برقراری وحدت و انسجام در جامعه بررسی کرده و کوشیده است به روش تاریخی، راهبردهای اجتماعی ایشان را برای همگرایی اسلامی با توجه به شرایط اجتماعی آن روزگار نشان دهد. شواهد تاریخی، حکایتگر آن است که عینیت‌بخشیدن به همسانی مسلمانان، تحکیم پیوندهای اجتماعی و اعتدال مذهبی، از مهم‌ترین راهبردهای اجتماعی آن حضرت بود که برای تحقق این راهبردها، راهکارهایی چون: حضور و همگامی در شعائر و مناسک دینی، برقراری پیوندهای اجتماعی و عاطفی نیکو با مسلمانان، مدارا با مخالفان، احترام به باورها و مقدسات پیروان مذاهب، عدم تحمیل عقیده و پرهیز از تعصبات و تکفیر دیگران را در پیش گرفتند https://hiq.bou.ac.ir/article_66104_306178e2b836ffbcc6764b402a6e4263.pdf
