The findings of research demonstrates that Seyed Ibn e- Tavoos has been of significant role in regard with the cultural and social development of Shiites within this era by compiling book on diverse issues, propagating martyrdom as well as stating the virtues of prophet’s household, holding the meetings of debate with the followers of other Islamic sects, propagating Mahdaviat- Mahhdiism and approaching of Imam Mahdi reappearance, cooperating with Mongolian Ilkhanids with respect to the political-religious assumption and finally collecting supplications and propagating the culture of supplication شیعیان در سده هفتم هجری به رشد فرهنگی و اجتماعی قابل توجهی، به ویژه در شهر بغداد، دست یافتند. بی‌تردید رضی‌الدین علی بن موسی بن طاووس (589ـ664ق) در این پویایی و رشد سهمی مؤثر داشت. این مقاله با روش وصفی ـ تحلیلی بر آن است، پس از مروری بر وضعیت شیعیان در قرن هفتم و نیز شخصیت سید بن طاووس، نقش او را در این زمینه بررسی کند. یافته‌های این پژوهش نشان می‌دهد که سید بن طاووس با تدوین و نشر کتاب در موضوعات مختلف، رواج دادن مقتل و منقبت‌خوانیِ اهل بیت:، بر پا کردن مجالس مناظره با پیروان سایر فِرَق اسلامی، ترویج اندیشه مهدویت و نزدیکی ظهور منجی، همکاری با ایلخان مغول در چارچوب یک نظریه سیاسی دینی و سرانجام تدوین ادعیه و رواج دادن فرهنگ دعا، در رشد فرهنگی و اجتماعی شیعیان در این دوره نقش داشته است https://hiq.bou.ac.ir/article_63456_5920c3a7407882431bc18e6cdbbbeefd.pdf
