Relying on the extant documents of the period, this article takes up a historical study of this era, particularly the activities of the first two envoys and a number of major difficulties faced by the Imamiyah at this time. Next, the theological opinions of two prominent theologians of the period, Ibn Ghubbah and Abu-Sahl Now-Bakhti, are dealt with. <em>وفات امام حسن عسکری علیه السلام در هشتم ربیع­الاول سال 260ﻫ ، جامعة امامیه را با وضعیت دشواری که در تاریخ شیعه به غیبت صغری مشهور است، روبرو کرد. نوشتار حاضر به بررسی تاریخی این دوره، خاصه فعالیت­های دو سفیر نخست و برخی از دشواری­های مهم امامیه، با تکیه بر اسناد باقی مانده از این دوران پرداخته است. در ادامه، آراء کلامی دو متکلم برجستة این دوره؛ یعنی ابن قبه و ابوسهل نوبختی، مورد  بحث قرار گرفته است.</em><em></em> https://hiq.bou.ac.ir/article_5536_f1d0f1266ca94194a8a0a9b46d4feed5.pdf
