Affected by the profound challenges, Spain set the development of national unity as a priority and selected the religious unity out of the persecution of beliefs as one of the appropriate means in favor of this objective. persecution of beliefs resembling an appropriate method towards the fulfillment of this goal in Spain has been of three phases at least however its middle phase initiated from the ending 15^th century and the beginning of 16^th centaury A. C is of significance due to the fact that it was follower of the objective in relation to the development of a united national government. In this regard, Spain government sponsored by the office of persecution of beliefs but in reality with the motivation of anti- Semitism seriously fought against Arabs and Judaists as two influential tribes and resident of this land to re-find the means of its missed unity. The present article has studied the diverse dimensions of this issue.    شبه‌جزیره ایبری، سرزمینی با اقوام مختلف است که اتحاد و یکپارچگی در آن منطقه، همواره با دشواری‌ هایی همراه بوده است. منشأ این دشواری را می‌توان نژاد مشترک نداشتن ساکنان این سرزمین دانست. اسپانیا پس از دچار شدن به چالش‌های عمیق، ایجاد اتحاد ملی را در دستور کار خود قرار داد و یکپارچگی مذهبی برآمده از دستگاه تفتیش عقاید را به‌عنوان یکی از ابزارهای مناسب برای این هدف برگزید. تفتیش عقاید، به‌ مثابه روشی برای تحقق وحدت دینی، در اسپانیا حداقل سه دوره داشته است؛ ولی دوره میانی آن که از اواخر قرن پانزدهم و اوایل قرن شانزدهم میلادی آغاز شد، از این نظر مهم است که هدف ایجاد یک دولت ملی یکپارچه را نیز تعقیب می­کرد. بر همین اساس، دولت اسپانیا در این دوره، تحت پوشش دستگاه تفتیش عقاید بوده است؛ ولی در حقیقت، با انگیزه ضد سامی­گری دست به مبارزه­ای جدی با عرب­نژادها و یهودیان به‌عنوان دو قوم تأثیرگذار ساکن این سرزمین زد تا بدین وسیله، وحدت ازدست‌رفته خود را بازیابد. مقاله حاضر، ابعاد مختلف این موضوع را کاویده است. https://hiq.bou.ac.ir/article_14561_37a6262e516891cdf06d62ee94cb7c95.pdf
