Majlesi has compiled the history of Islam on the basis of Shiite sources to complete his encyclopedia of traditions. His historiography and setting of the historical issues of Behar al- Anwar states that his historical view is affected by the theological principles of Shiism however he has selected a non- theological way towards the historical traditions and their evaluation. This writing, compiled with the purpose of investigating the way of criticizing the reports related to the history of Islam in Behar al- Anwar, has concluded that Majlesi stated his ideas towards the traditions subsequent to the complete criticism of narration and in many cases, he has noticed to the similarities among narrations of Sunnite and Shiite sources as well as the probable adaptation in diverse books. The content-based criticism of Sunnite and Shiite narrations, settling the dispute among the historical traditions in Shiite sources, an indirect reference to Sunnite sources, noticing to the element of time in criticisms, removal of the ambiguity of proper names in some historical narrations are considered as the other common ways of explaining the tradition in Behar al- Anwar. Majlesi relies on corresponding narrations or personal deductions to elucidate the traditions. Nevertheless, some of Majlesi’s criticism concerning the history of Islam is on the basis of the belief-based presumptions which are observed in some specific cases.

The nature of monarchy in national, authoritative and ideological government was one of the significant issues attended by travel book foreign authors in Safavid era. Through the methodology of critical discourse analysis particularly the interpretation of Fan Liven from the concept of representation, the present research endeavors to represent an image presenting the discourse of travel book from the nature of monarchy in Safavid era. The findings of this research illustrates that in these travel books, the representation of Safavid king has been done from two dimensions: first, representation of monarchy as an issue observant on metaphysic and tradition, second, the representation of monarchy as a position and nature based on qualification. The image developed out of representation in these travel books includes a vast circle from the meaningfulness to the attribution of causes to effects.
In this judgment, the status of monarchy in Safavid era has been illustrated with two material and non-material aspects. In this representation, king has been illustrated by five sources of this dynasty like Sufism, Shiism, and tradition of Iranshahri – Iranian ideal king, Iranian- Shiite interpretation from Islamic caliph as well as the early movements of lawfulness on the basis of qualification developed out of the new movement of western modernity. These authors have attempted to represent the quality of king’s relationship with the court, elites and classes and social states in addition to description of king. In their view, the relationship between the nature of monarchy and the other classes except Shiite scholars and jurisprudents has been generally linear and unidirectional.

The historiography of Hosham e- Kalbi - 402 After Hijrah- particularly in Al- Asnam book is considered as a way of appreciating the Islamic historiography in the first Islamic centuries; it is also deserved to be reviewed.
Through surveying the meaning of Al- Asnam book- the analysis of text as well as the cultural, intellectual context- this writing is to answer the question regarding the motivation of Hosham e- Kalbi towards the creation of such a text related to idols of ignorant Arabs at the beginning of the third century.
The findings of this research reveals that Ibn e- Kalbi wrote this book due to Arabs’ need for developing individuality and challenging the principles of Islamic beliefs by the other religions particularly Christians in the first years of the third century After Hijrah . He has re-manifested the history of Arabs’ idols and their idol worshiping , stabilized the rightfulness of Islamic concepts and defended prophecy, crystallized the great historical role of prophet Mohammad PBUH on the elimination of idol worshiping, compared with the other prophets and on the basis of this, he created an honorable Arabic-Islamic individuality for Arabs.

Genealogy is considered as a branch of studies being of great significance historically, socially and jurisprudentially particularly for Shiites.
The sources of genealogy provide some information related to the descendents of Abbas Ibn e- Ali PBUH. On the basis of the book under the title of Zaad ol- A’van compiled in 1315 After Hijrah as the only document, Abbasid Alawites came to India in the end of the fifth century and the tribe of A’van e- hend already called Alawites is attributed to them. In order to investigate the accuracy of this attribution, this writing has studied the documentary sources of Zaad ol- A’van including Mizan e- Hashemi, Mizan e- Qotbi, and Kholasat ol- Ansab by referring to authorities’ sources, kinship, history, and tradition and it has concluded that the first two books are not of any external entity whereas the third book under the title of Kholasat ol- Aqval definitely belongs to Allameh Helli and its issues is sufficient enough to approve this claim.
Furthermore, the historical approval of a character named “Own Qotb Shah” referring to the holiness Abbas PBUH and Caliph Abdolqader Gilani is not feasible by the presented documents.
