P.H.d Student in History of civilization and Islamic Nation. Although the historiographical books believe that biograhpical historiography (put the people in different social classes for historical studies) is one of the most uthentic kinds and branches of Muslims' historiography, but we can not find, easily, the trace of this branch in historiographical books. And even we can not find the fundamental concept of class in these books. On the other hand, the comparison of the numerous volume of books in biographical historiography in different fields with very few preliminary discussion volume of this field, is considerable, and give it a heterogeneous from. By reffering to the same inconsiderable discussion, it becomes clear that traditionists (the people who were expert in recognizing the diffetent kinds of traditions) because of their essential need designed the discussion of principles and foundations of biographical historiography like the defenition and the advantages and disadvantages of it. The present article which we can hardly find any analogous for it, studies these subjects alongside the other subjects like different styles of biographical historiography and the background of works about the foundation of biogrphical historiography.

In the period of the second caliph the Muslims whose goal was to conquer Iran, were seeking a place that in addition of being near to Iran could be a proper place from the aspect of weather for the inhabitants of Arabian peninsula. For this reason after writing a letter to the second caliph, sa'd b. Abivaqqas gave a mission to Persian Salman and Hadighat b. yaman to find a proper place for their own and their camel herds. Following this mission a region on the East Coast and near the ancient city of Hireh, which later called kufa, was chosen, and this was the first city that the Muslims built it after the appearance of Islam
